Last week it was announced that the new Call Of Duty map pack would go live on May 3. It contains four new maps, one of them being the highly anticipated Zombie map that is going to contain new guns and different ways to kill those Zombies!
The new multiplayer maps will also have new features that have yet to be announced ; despite growing pressures form the Fans. Yesterday a trailer was published on YouTube which showed all of the news maps , including the Zombie map.They're Zoo, Stockpile, Hotel and Convoy. They also said that the Zombie Map will have"All new playable Charters" What do they have in store for us? Will have to find out when the Black Ops Escalation Map Pack comes out May 3rd. A source claims that Modern Warfare 3 will be a prequel , featuring ghost. The source is the official Playstation magazine , which claims' that the main character will be ghost. Whats more they also said their will be location which have been in many other Call Of Duty's created by Infinity Ward.
This is the most recent source , out of many which many rumours have arisen. A Most recent rumour is that "Beachhead Studios' will be working on a "Digital" version of Call Of Duty. The prequel will happen before Call Of Duty 4 , and will be familiar but it will be from a different perspective as Ghost. Allthough it will use a different game engine from Call of Duty 4 , it will probably be the same one as Black Ops / MW2. All we know is that Activison has to release a "Call Of Duty"
A recent source has said said that "Infinity Ward" Has to much on their plate to be developing the next Call Of Duty (Modern Warfare 3.) The development will go to the Canadian studio of sledge hammer games , say's VG274. This has been speculated for a long time now , but their has still been no official announcement by Activision or any other Game studio.

Modern Warefare 3 has been confirmed by Activision. This has to be the biggest good news' of the week , as Activison have filled a counter lawsuit againts Vincent Zampella and Jason west , over allergation of EA trying to steal the creators of Call Of Duty. As well as MW3 another Call Of Duty game will come out devolped by the new studio "Sledge Hammer Games." This is set to come out in 2011 , and will be an action/adventure game. Even though Activsion has confrimed they're devolping MW3 , they might not be able to publish the title ; intill the lawsuit is resolved. This is because West and Zemplella have claimed they hold the rights to the Mordern warfare series. It has also been rumoured that Raven software , are co developing the next call of duty. These rumours' have arose because of an advertisement , claiming the successful applicant , will work On an Fps , for a popular based console game. Today it has been confirmed that the next Call Of Duty will use the same engine as the past Modern Warfare 2. Could this bring good news , to Call Of Duty gamers? Well , the game will have the same feel as modern Warfare 2 , and will likely have the same type of graphics and sound. Today this decision received criticized , because of the many flaws of MW2. Although gamers are looking forward to added support as the infinity ward fiasco has blown over and they are co developing with other studios. Who knows what will happen in November.
Pax East starts today , which has added new hope that they will released a small teaser trailer , as by know hype is building up for the game , as Black Ops failed for some people and gamers are looking back to older games. Despite this MW3 will have to cope with game , which is set to be the best looking game ever. The game is Battlefield 3 , which is a Dice production , these are the people who develop all the battlefield games , and is the second best selling game , behind Call Of Duty. Whats more many predictions are that Battlefield will sell more than MW3 , because of the many failings of MW2.
